アウター向けのウール生地といえば繊維が不均一な紡毛を使用することが一般的に多いかと思いますが、これは梳毛を使用しています。コーミングをすることで均一で一定方向に向いた繊維で構成されている梳毛は光沢感があり目面が綺麗です。

使用している生地は、アメリカンコットンの中でも繊維長が長いことに起因する上品な光沢と強度を兼ね揃えるサンホーキン綿をゆっくりと時間をかけ紡績した糸で編み立てたものになります。

上衿やベルトなどのディテールを省略、「ライダースジャケットである」と認識する限界までミニマルにし、その生地に注視してしまうようなバランスで構築しました。
