Looking at this card now from a gameplay point of view, its almost hilariously awkward to use with up to three different energy types and attacks that rely on coin flips to be effective
Spell Weird was invented by the Skill Check channel, who play a great game of Sharpie Commander full of inventive redacted cards
A 2/3 early that launches 6/6 or 7/7 lands late at your opponents faces is a flexible tool
These are good value reprints too, including Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Apex Devastator, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, and Mana Reflection, plus two great lands in Vesuva and Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth
The best part is that it scales with what you might be doing anyway, or just with the game itself
