It was a set I really enjoyed, and it contains lots of cards that quickly became very important in many formats, including Commander
Good construction and play counts for way more than optimal directions and cards
Like many others I jumped right on the Magic The Gathering: Final Fantasy hype train and gorged myself on ripping packs to discover the phenomenal art inside
It seems counterintuitive at first, in a game of card advantage, to two-for-zero yourself, especially in Commander, when exchanges that work in 1v1 formats put both players behind in the multiplayer calculus
And at every level in between, there is an Umbreon card with strong artwork, genuine collector demand, and a track record of holding value
If you add the Ephemerate spell to the combo, then you get something very dangerous
