This is unquestionably Might and Magic's best tool for controlling the board
In this deck, I dont think thats an issue, because I think youll always have plenty of targets in your graveyard once you have enough mana to make it powerful, so I like Raise the Alarm here even though I didnt use it in other places
You also get counters on all of your existing creatures, which can be a big swing
Jenova will feature in the main MTG set for Final Fantasy at rare, so expect her to show up at your prelease
Then, for three energy you can deal an impressive 150 damage with Venusaurs Dangerous Toxwhip attack to your opponents active Pokemon, leaving them poisoned and confused afterward, finishing them off with poison damage between turns and making it more difficult for them to attack you back
On top of this it costs life and kills your normal draw putting you on somewhat of a self imposed clock
