There's also some weak cards like Interceptor, Shadow's Hound which is really cool and self-reanimate is thematic, but there's only a single Assassin in the deck (not even a commander) and a 4/3 without evasion is simply not worth getting back anyway
Dragoon's Wyvern also comes with a free 1/1, so this should be very good even if it falls a little short of Preening Champion (which was one of the best commons in years)
This can also double as a win condition with certain other cards, like Isochron Scepter

I remember when Hydras Growth got printed, the lack of trample got mentioned in my LGS during prerelease as being weird, until someone had a Moss Viper with 128 counters on it because their opponent didnt draw into removal
