and wonderfully wild bouquet of roses she holds

with tiny holes down one edge from where it was stitched into a notebook and some staining to one bottom corner

especially the underside of the flip top lid (which I believe lost its pull)

though it does look the date is 7-something

This old carved crocodile appears to me to have been carefully crayoned green, with black for his beady eyes and red for the inside of his giant mouth. His little feet were each carved separately then fit super snuggly into holes carved out in his sides, and his was given wonderful carved texture all down his back. To me, the complete essence of a friendly crocodile and just a marvelous thing. 9 5 8" l x 1 7 8" w x 15 16"
