Patinated nickel bronze. Circa. 1920 30s. The work is beautifully composed and crisply cast, with the female bird nestling into the neck of the male who is holding his wings around her in a protective embrace. Clear signature to the right. There are some marks and scuffs commensurate with age but generally the whole piece displays extremely well.
