I think this one would make a great frame for an old painting on board

then fit back together to appear as one piece

They do not stand steadily on their own so would need a stand or something to lean against if not hanging

Antique Magic Lantern Slide Mechanical Kaleidoscope elm city national bank I am pretty much positiveI've always found kaleidoscopes pretty magical, and even better one's you don't have to look through a scope to see. Turning the handle here rotates one of two colorful round glass slides, making kaleidoscopic patterns as it shifts in relation to the static one. Just a lovely thing, especially great set near a window to hold to the light for optimal viewing. Overall: 7 3 4" long including handle. Kaleidoscope glass is 1 3 4" in diameter. Very good
